Failed 3times Nclex -RN

Published

Hello RNs and future RNs

I graduated this year 2018 May and I had taken 3 NCLEX Exam from now and each exam was 265 questions with all near passing for results . I am super sad and hopeless at this moment and clueless what I did wrong during the exam. In this 5months I been studying everyday with 75questions with reviewing all correct and wrong. I also do a two hrs reading of the notes I made additionally. I had used uworld for first nclex, Lippincott's Q & A for second exam, and then the third one I used Saunders. Please can you guys suggest any other program or study material that will help me pass my nclex.

Since you've used UWorld, Saunders and Lippincott's and still not successful. I suggest you look into study material that gives you a review on core content such as Hurst. I used it for my NCLEX PN and even though I went the whole 205 questions and passed it was worth doing the review. I decided to do Hurst review after failing using Saunders/NCSBN and UWorld/Saunders. So you may want to use a different combination like for example Hurst and UWorld. Kaplan is also good also however; I feel unless you use their content review book their NCLEX prep is surrounding the world of using test taking strategies to answer NCLEX style questions. Although, I think this is a good approach I also think it leaves out the fact that if you don't know your core content and the basics you won't be successful in passing the NCLEX. Having "near passing" all three times is devastating however; don't let that deter you from passing the NCLEX. Last thing, I'd say is if you choose to use Hurst as your content review prep don't use any other text. Thousands of students have used Hurst and have succeeded. So why not you?

My heart goes out to you. I wish I had something practical to say. You can do this! There is no down side to persevering.
