I feel really bummed out. I found out that I did not passed the nclex-rn three weeks after taking the exam. It took me a little over hours to finished the 265 questions. The worst part is that I got a job offer but had to give it up because I did not passed. On top of it all, I don't know of anyone that graduated with me that has not passed their nclex. I feel left out and so stupid . Some encouragements please...

Hi bebe12:redpinkhe,
First of all, I'm so sorry about your exam. I do know what you're going through but please take at least a week or so to let yourself grieve because this is a part of healing. Second of all, please do not call yourself stupid because that is not so and you're not alone. I also had to give an original job offer in the beginning but found out it was best because I wouldn't have been happy with my original plans. Take this time to get plenty of rest etc. so when you feel it's time to study again you will be rejuvenated. If you need anything or want to chat just PM me. You are going through normal emotions and don't feel like you have to tell anyone. GOD BLESS!!!

I wouldn't want to go through problems with an employer, so I wouldn't apply for a position until after I had my license confirmed. I am sorry that you were not successful this time. Take some time to regroup and get back at it. You can get this done. Just don't give up. Good luck.

I'm sorry to hear that.
I suggest holding off as well on finding a job and concentrating 100% on what's most important, which is passing your NCLEX. Give yourself 1-2 months of uninterrupted studying.... once you pass, the world is your oyster

Don't give up girl! Just chill and relax for a week or so . Then get back on that study grind! Try your best not to get destracted while you study. You can do it ! Good luck!!

I know exactly how you and the OP feels. I took my 1st attempt on 1-13-09.. I had all 265 questions and failed.. I was devasted. I took a few weeks to regroup and started all over again. My second attempt was 3-22-09, and I passed!! I too, had a job lined up and had to let it go.. All things happen for a reason. Just take some time to regroup and give it your all when you're ready... Good Luck.....

Today I started to regroup and started studying again. Thanks to everyone for your encouragements. You guys make me feel confident that I too, can passed =)! Notebook1985, I think this time around, I am not going to let anyone know when I am taking it either. Just adds to the stress. Good luck to you and the rest of us that still needs to passed!
Shawn, what were your strategies this time around? How many questions did you get and did you get a lot of SATA's? I started studying but still confused of where to start =(
