I need some advice because I've tried everything. I've used Hurst, Kaplan, Remar, LaCharity, Nclex 4000. I had 265 questions & I felt like I was doing OK. I had about 13 EKGs 3 pictures, 5 put in order & lost count after 50 Sata. Also had tons of infection control. I just felt so tired. I'm heartbroken & devastated Any advice will be appreciated

I'm sorry to hear that. It must be very difficult for you. God has a reason for everything. Keep your faith. Take a break and gather yourself. You have the best materials. Check your report and see what your weakness then review them again and make a big come back! You can do it. Just believe. Keep your head up! :)
Thanks so much! I'm disappointed because I studied so hard.

I'm so sorry!!! I failed the fist time I took it at 265 questions in January. Remember that those who receive the maximum amount are very close to the pass/fail line the entire test, so you did the best you can do to fail. Take some time for yourself and then get back on it!! You got this!!! It feels like the end of the world, believe me I KNOW, but you will soon realize (as I did), that you have already done the hard part!! You got into nursing school, passed all the difficult exams in nursing school and clinical and now you are here to this one final exam. It's just one test. It can be taken again and again until you pass. I felt much better when I realized that. Don't let yourself get too down. It's a difficult test, and anything can throw you off! (anxiety, sleep deprivation, outside issues, etc).... I am re taking mine on Monday, and if I pass will post what I did this second time around to pass.
Oh, and one last thing.... I finally embraced this extra time and realized maybe I needed a break. I lost my amazing nurse residency position, but hey! if you lost your job too, it's also not the end of the world. If you got it the first time, you will definitely find another one that's probably even better!! Don't give up hope!!!
Sending lots of love and prayers.
Thanks so much & I wish you the best. I'm just ready to put this burden behind me so I can move on

2013rn2BScorpio, I am so sorry to hear you failed. I have been there. You need to take a break/cry/yell/be depressed, just get it out of your system. Once you have accepted the failure, then you are ready to move forward.
I feel you are using to many study materials(unless you mastered all of the content in all of those study materials). I read once that if you use to many study resources, you are just memorizing info and not fully understanding nursing info. I do not have the magic touch nor can tell you what to use. For me, I only used Hurst (took a live review & studied that book inside/out with a classmate who had failed like me). We spent a 1 month quizzing each other on all the on content in the book(including the mgmt & delegation/OB/Peds, before taking the exam again. That study session with my buddy made me so confident that it helped relieve my anxiety. Thus, with decreased anxiety, I was able to go into this BEAST of an exam with a critical thinking and safety mindset, which enabled me to achieve a PASS.
With you, it concerns me that you got so many EKGs questions, because that means you were not getting those right. Please review/master the EKGs (how to identify them/how to treat them).
Lastly, you got 265 questions, so you were close, so I know you can do this. Much success the next time around.
Thank you so much! I REALLY appreciate all of your advice.

Its well...take a break and do it again! You are destined for Greatness!!
You are so welcome. In comparison to the length of time you spent in nursing school, and even getting in to nursing school, this is just a small set back. Perspective helped me a lot!! Sending you good & positive vibes:-) You got this!

Keep at it. You will get that license! :)

Hi there ! I too agree with the other posts that you are using too many resources .....I believe you should stick to one.
For me, I did the Kaplan. I looked at all the videos, did the Qbank questions, trainers and read/took notes with the book.
I also, think that you should shake it off, (scream, cry, eat tons of ice cream/chocolate ) and mentally prepare to get ready for the next test , which I have a lot of confidence that you can pass. I know it can be mentally draining but you are around the corner with just one more step.
You can and will do it!!!
Best of luck!
-----by the way, in the middle of the nclex testing, when I would get stuck on a question ......I would write my name with RN at the end , take a deep breathe and tell myself "I've got this ".
My name with RN at the end was such a motivation! Good luck and remember " failure is NOT an option"

Thank you. I found myself crying today but I plan to defeat this test. I think everyone is right too many resources had me overwhelmed.
I better lay off the ice cream summer is right around the corner.
