Hello, I was wondering if normally after passing NCLEX boards, textbooks were kept or sold. I have kept all of my textbooks since I started the nursing program although I can use the space in my garage. So I would like to know which ones should I keep or sell. It's simple, just take your Id and nothing else. You can't use a cell, so leave it in the car. Your nerves will be a wreck, so never mind the food. Then when you're done and you walk out of the test center you can access whatever: cell, novel, diary, etc. When i tested, I was wearing a light jacket because i get chilly. The testing supervisor made me take it off and turn it inside out so that she could check it. My nerves were so wired that I was glad I went in there with only a small wallet. Is ENC 1102 and music appreciation required before admission into the program? Or can those classes be taken in conjunction while in the BSN program? Thank you Sent from my iPhone using allnurses

I got my ASN at 40. I am now finishing with the requirements for the bachelors program. I did things backwards having kids early but no regrets just full of blessings. I have raised two daughters one of whom is graduating college this month. And I have to say it feels awesome to do something for me and that I love. I too felt I was old when I started the program. But reassurance came when I saw a lot of my classmates my age going back to college. It's never too late because time will pass no matter what you are doing, whether vegetating on a couch or going to nursing school. Go out there and get inspired because it will change the way you feel about yourself. Before you know it your name will be followed by a tittle with RN. Hi there ! I too agree with the other posts that you are using too many resources .....I believe you should stick to one. For me, I did the Kaplan. I looked at all the videos, did the Qbank questions, trainers and read/took notes with the book. I also, think that you should shake it off, (scream, cry, eat tons of ice cream/chocolate ) and mentally prepare to get ready for the next test , which I have a lot of confidence that you can pass. I know it can be mentally draining but you are around the corner with just one more step. You can and will do it!!! Best of luck! -----by the way, in the middle of the nclex testing, when I would get stuck on a question ......I would write my name with RN at the end , take a deep breathe and tell myself "I've got this ".
