Failed NCLEX twice should I quit?

Nursing Students NCLEX

I started orientation at a new job in March and failed nclex twice after I started the job. I was working as a tech after the first time I didn't pass. I can only take the test 4 times. The second time my manager wanted me to take it ASAP and I don't think I was ready. My manager wants to know when I will take it again. I don't know what I should do. I do not like the job and leaning towards just quitting and taking more time to study and just look for another job after I pass. What should I do? Will quitting hurt my chances of getting another job?

New grad positions are hard to find. Keep your job. Devote time to review after your shift is done. Minimize interruptions during your study periods. On my days off, I would study from 8am-8pm. No matter how I felt about the material or not matter what question or chapter I was on, I closed it down at 8pm. I would answer practice questions from 8am to 12noon. Have lunch (no studying!), review the answers and rationale until 4pm, then retake the practice questions from earlier that morning to gauge my understanding and/or memorization of the concept.

That was my pattern throughout nursing school and the NCLEX. It allowed me to do a one-and-done on all of my exams...including the NCLEX. Give it a try..good luck!!
