I found Saunders to be the best by far. I had the book for all questions and another for content. My advice-create a study schedule and stick to it 5-6hours/day, at least 200 questions/day, read all rationales (u need to understand all-correct and incorrect). I, myself concentrated more on questions. I used the content book if I didn't understand a certain topic and to go over my weak areas. I passed my NCLEX on first try with minimum questions asked. I Hope this helps GL

I took my test and passed the first time with maximum amount of questions. I used Kaplan the entire time I did some learning extension. Questions are very important when it comes to passing I believe. Its important to know your weak areas so you can focus on those areas first. Do questions DAILY at least something. I did about 90 a day sometimes a little more. I did my test on 3hrs of sleep but I was confident and ready so don't go in discouraged. Believe in yourself you can do it God Bless!

I am a foreign grad as well and studied with Kaplan, Ncsbn 3 week review, exam cram and went over the entire content with my textbooks from nursing school. I found Kaplan very helpful but it it seemed like their strategies didn't apply to all types of questions. But it definitely helped. What seemed the most useful to me was the Ncsbn review combined with content review. For meds I used my pharmacology books and an app which I downloaded from the Ncsbn website. I hope this helps. Good luck. You can do it!
