failed nclex-pn first time

Hi my name is Stephanie and I took my NCLEx-PN on Thursday June 24th and I thought that I had passed the NCLEX-PN but I just received a letter in the mail saying that I did not pass t he NCLEX-PN and that I am at a Near Passing Standard for all subjects, just burst into tears and the bad thing is that my name was on the BON website and I told everyone that I had passed now I have to take my NCLEX again and tell my mother that i really failed. It just sucks, I have to re-read my Saunders book and do the NCBSN study questions and I have exam cram too. I'm just going to keep studying.

Steph, sorry to hear you have failed but just think of it as another hurdle to jump through. Don't rush to resit the exam, concentrate on answering questions and reading the rationale. Glad you haven't given up and best of luck for next time

hey,,i still have not recieved anything regarding my test results,,,i know that i failed but do not know anything about my weaknesses or anything...idk what to study on or even how to start....this sucks but ive read a lot of ppl fail the first time and end up passing the second time..how long do u have to wait??

Hey Mandy I have to wait 45 days till I can retake the test again.

Hi Steph,

First of all, How did you know you failed the nclex? just curious!

I took the nclex pn june 21 2010, stoped at 85, tried the pv trick and i got the the good pop up. :)

I only did kaplan qbank and nclex 3000.
