Failed a Chem class

Hi, so I'm doing my pre-reqs at the local college and so far I have straight A's and B's and around a 3.6 GPA. I took 7 courses this semester and I was supposed to finish with the pre reqs by the end of spring 2017. Today I had my chem final which completely destroyed my grade and I ended with a D. I have never gotten a D in my life or failed a class. The university I was planning on going to doesn't accept anyone that has failed a science course, not even if they retake it and get an A. I feel like it's the end for me and I'm so upset. I put so much into this class and I failed.. What now?

Retake the course and apply to other programs. Since you put your best into it, you can't be angry at yourself unless you don't think you should have taken 7 courses at once. That would have been asking for trouble for most students.
