Fail nclex , near the passing standard, advice

Hi friends,I recently took Nclex and failed second time I have received my report all the the are ingot near the passing standard ,except. In infection control I got below the passing standard. So what is the meaning of this. Do I need much more work to do? Frankly I have studed a lot as far as content is concern. I used Saundra yellow book finish all chapter and all questions in the book, hurst review my score started at 60 , used lacharity and Nclex 3500. Although I should admit I didn't do many question as much. So I need advice , what should I do differently this time am so stressed . Please I need big advice, do I need to buy more review ? What should I do?

You need to meet the passing standard in ALL areas not just near. So you seem to lack something in all areas.

Do you understand the content ? If you don't have a solid comprehension of content and nursing fundamentals then you don't have the background to apply the knowledge and critical thinking of nursing

Were you educated in the US? (That may be a factor if you were not)

If you have a strong content/fundamental background then perhaps you need to work on knowledge application and test taking strategies. (Example not only how to choose the best answer but why). If you need help with application/test taking look at Kaplan. Many have recommended the purple Kaplan book. If you need help with Prioritization of actions look at LaCharity Prioritization Delegation & Assignment (PDA).
