Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone is currently taking the Excelsior LPN to RN ... and how goes it??!!
I'm not sure of this program, but I thought I would bite the bullet & try to pass the 1st of the 7 exams required.
I am also wondering why it is that you do not have to enroll to take the 1st two exams - Health Safety & Transition? Are they easier than the 5 remaining exams, and is this their way of getting you to take the worm? Or, are they harder than the 5 remaining exams - which would "weed out" the serious from those who aren't?
Thank you!

sorry I'm new to this site---I've just graduated last year LPN and is really considering doing this but I heard so many negative things esp the whole clinical aspect---wondering if you can give me some advice--not sure how to message on here but would you please email me at [email protected] Thank you!
Can anyone currently enrolled or recently graduated speak to how long the LPN-RN program takes at EC? I called today and was told 18-24 months. Why would anyone do this if they could just go to a b&m program for less time? Thanks for any insight anyone can give me.
EC is for those for whom a brick & mortar school is not an option. It certainly isn't easier, and might not be faster.
