Excelsior LPN to RN

Nursing Students Excelsior

Published

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone is currently taking the Excelsior LPN to RN ... and how goes it??!!

I'm not sure of this program, but I thought I would bite the bullet & try to pass the 1st of the 7 exams required.

I am also wondering why it is that you do not have to enroll to take the 1st two exams - Health Safety & Transition? Are they easier than the 5 remaining exams, and is this their way of getting you to take the worm? Or, are they harder than the 5 remaining exams - which would "weed out" the serious from those who aren't?

Thank you!

You should speak with the GA BON about that.

Does anyone know if it is true that Excelsior will be closing BOTH hospital sites in Wisconsin for the CPNE?

Which tests? Most are proctored exams and taken at Pearson testing centers

sorry I'm new to this site---I've just graduated last year LPN and is really considering doing this but I heard so many negative things esp the whole clinical aspect---wondering if you can give me some advice--not sure how to message on here but would you please email me at [email protected] Thank you!

Can anyone currently enrolled or recently graduated speak to how long the LPN-RN program takes at EC? I called today and was told 18-24 months. Why would anyone do this if they could just go to a b&m program for less time? Thanks for any insight anyone can give me.

EC is for those for whom a brick & mortar school is not an option. It certainly isn't easier, and might not be faster.

Did you finish yet if now write me back i know a way

Anyone just starting the Excelsior ADN program? I have just applied and feel all alone.

My wife completed all her Excelsior classes using the mystudygroup101 offerings and got B's in every class but did get 1 A.
