How long did you personally wait for your CPNE? The college is saying 6-8 months wait time...is this still accurate?
The college says that the program takes 2 years; is this true? AND why so long? I've completed all my pre-reqs so I won't have to deal with them...just the nursing classes.
Is it hard to find a preceptor once you finish (this is necessary for Washington state).
Did you do this online? I am trying to establish if there is an online LVN or RN program at Excelsior or elsewhere. If so I imagine the clinical part will have to be done locally. I am in TX.

excelsior is not a online program . it is a self paced test out program. however, it is only for people that have established clinical skills lvn's. rt's , paramedics and people that have finished at least 50% of rn school cliniclas. i am in texas as well check into delmar i know they have a online rn progam..good luck to you...

Yup. I did it online.
There is no on-line LPN program anywhere that I know of. Excelsior does do on-line LPN to RN and certain other people with clinical backgrounds can do it as well.
There are no clinicals required. At the end there is an intense three-day practical exam, which I'm taking th end of May.
