Exactly 2 weeks before NCLEX-RN Exam Day!! Yay!

Hi fellow nurses! Just want to get some of your opinions/suggestions on what to do for 2 weeks before my exam day. :uhoh21:

Well, I'm done with Saunders, Kaplan strategies and PDA, been answering practice questions using NCSBN this week (and I could say that at least I'm getting better, I started w/ 58% pretest then I'm going up now to 65's and boy the questions are so good for critical thinking, much harder questions than Saunders for sure), and reviewing my flashcards along w/ Davis Pharm section. For next week I'm planning to continue answering Kaplan QT2-7 (I'm done w/ QT1 last week w/ 68%) and to start answering Exam Cram CD.

My test is next month, too. I'm having trouble with Delegation, where I'm from we don't have all of this staff and we do everything. I have the Lacharity but I really need some content on this.

Can anyone help, please? This is so stressful!!

Good luck future nurse! I'm sure you got this! I'm planning to sign up for NCSBN Qbank. I've been studying on and off because waitng for my eligibility gets so frustrating. I know its harder to be eligible for foreign students trying to apply for the NCLEX. Well, anyway good luck again! Keep us updated :)

I would like to wish you good luck!! I took mine 2 days ago and I am on pins and needles!! Study those Meds hard!!

So how did it go? Hoping you had a positive results. :) And if I may ask, what kind of Meds? I mean the "most-commonly-asked-meds" or the "out-of-this-world meds"?? :uhoh21:

I took it last year and failed as well. I am using Kaplan Review and also their content videos, PDA, I read Saunders some times for content, but I took all their SATA questions, and I will be starting the NCSBN next week. I heard they are the best and it's very similar to the boards. Know someone who took it the second time and pass with them.

Yes dear, there are lots of posters (I remember Joe, and I forgot the others hehe) I've encountered here who failed their first attempt and then tried NCSBN and passed their second. So, I hope we can also have that luck. But I think we already have the advantage since we already saw the exam, I mean we already know what to expect for the big day, right? So, let's make use of that advantage. Good luck on your studies and keep on practicing and praying as well. :)

I really hope so!! :) Wow Oh my God!! I bet we do have the same anxiety. Nevertheless, we have to keep on studying & praying also. Btw, are you also testing here in Makati, Phils? I'm scheduled to take it in AM. I was hoping to get the PM slot, but it's already full when I look for a sched last Dec 2011.

Hi there! :) That was my same problem way back 2009. I've waited for 1 year just to get elligible by VT. Well, it's not actually VT's problem but my school! Oh well I don't want to remember that anymore Haha!! But I did study so much hoping I can test anytime soon, but when I already got elligible, I got hired and so I didn't have much time to review anymore and so I failed. Just an unsolicited tip, once you get elligible, schedule your exam asap so that you will have at least a target date when you can test, and you can lay down your goals until your test date.
