4550- Evidence Based Nursing

From looking at the classes starting in fall, I'm guessing that Evidence Based nursing is replacing Research? Anyone have any idea if stats is still required prior to taking this, as it was with Research?

Okay...got both DB grades back...missing half point on each one.

My question is: I am still trying to figure out how to cite the article web sight. I noticed some people who have already posted their DB for week 5 have cited all three articles and not cited anything else.

Frustrating!

I don't recall seeing anything about correcting anything. All I did was identify the threat and briefly explain why it was a threat. Didn't lose any points.

We were to suggest how the nurse could avoid the threat that was found.

It was on the rubric which was POSTED on the assignment itself. You can no longer access it now. Apparently according to this thread, some people got points off for not doing it. I will have to see how my TA looks at my answers.

In the beginning of the class, the rubrics were so vague so I guess I just started ignoring them. I thoroughly read the directions posted at the beginning of the assignment (quiz) and I didn't see anything about correcting. I got points taken off for not suggestion how to correct it. ???? Not sure I even understand.

Okay week 5 DB done and posted. Quiz is all that is left and hallelujah...another class done. I am 1/2 point away from making a A minus. Have to wait till all the grades are in! Sheesh.

I have to do two replies and quiz. Working on the replies now. I have to do the quiz when I am refreshed and not run down from work and lack of sleep -- like Saturday!!

Okay...just got my grades...got 15/15 for Internal Validity. I now have an 90% grade average. Gotta do well on this quiz to keep my A!

Done except for taking the quiz. Will do that in the AM. Stats is up and running for me. Have downloaded the first 2 modules, glanced through them, and am now ready to go jump into the ocean. Gonna be a rough one I am very much afraid ..... :dead:

Ohhhh...your little smiley is looking sad and pitiful. I feel for you...I really do!! You are sooo close to finishing....you can do it!!!
