Evergreen Valley College (EVC) Fall 2024 Spring 2025

This is a forum for those who are applying to EVC's nursing program in 2024 in both fall and Spring (2025) semester. It has been a wait, and it would be great hearing from other students who are applying as well about their journey to entering a nursing program and share advice while going through this process. We are here to uplift each other and make the overall competitive nature more inclusive!

So from what I know, it may take a month and a half to hear back from EVC (straight from the horse's mouth). Many applicants I've heard from previous cohorts have gotten in with surprisingly not as high scores. Many I hear have been getting especially off of the waitlist.

About me. I am a volunteer at a local hospital in the bay area (+300 hours). My overall score on the application was an 83 and my TEAS score is 88

Mine was edited again today but no update to say accepted or declined, still just says submitted. Anyone else? Anyone update to declined or accepted? I'm trying really hard not to overthink but this is the longest wait!

Mine shows last edited yesterday, but still says under review. 🙏🏼

Mine just says submitted, but last edited just today! So two edits for mine, one last week and one today

In the status area? Mine still just says submitted.

Mine shows as under review still and was also edited again this morning at 7:50! The suspense is killing me LOL

How long as your application been in the "under review" status?

Tbh I hadn't checked it until 2 days ago and noticed the status changed and was edited for the first time that same day. So I would guess only like 2 days.

got it! I'm trying not to stress out about mine being just "submitted" too much.. I'm currently searching for older threads checking if anyone went from "submitted" to "accepted" without having their application say "under review" at all. aaah!

My application was just edited again! At 9:49 so they probably are still reviewing my app LOL. I don't think you should stress just yet! (although hard not to bcs I'm stressed as well haha)

My application was just edited at the same time as well!! I also found this on last year's thread so it looks like some people went from "submitted" to "accepted" or whatever without going under review. interesting! the stress is real LOL

Mine got edited 3 times but still showing submitted. I have a low score I don't think I will get in. I am wondering why they edited my application 3 times. They also opened my transcript twice.
