Members are discussing acceptance into the San Jose State BSN program, supplemental applications for the CEP dual enrollment, confirmation emails for intent to enroll, deadlines for submitting CEP portions, being pulled off the alternate list, cohort placements, ICCP program decisions, fit testing for respirators, and sharing experiences with the program. Some members are also looking for links to join a Discord group related to the program.
This is a forum for those who are applying to EVC's nursing program in 2024 in both fall and Spring (2025) semester. It has been a wait, and it would be great hearing from other students who are applying as well about their journey to entering a nursing program and share advice while going through this process. We are here to uplift each other and make the overall competitive nature more inclusive!
So from what I know, it may take a month and a half to hear back from EVC (straight from the horse's mouth). Many applicants I've heard from previous cohorts have gotten in with surprisingly not as high scores. Many I hear have been getting especially off of the waitlist.
About me. I am a volunteer at a local hospital in the bay area (+300 hours). My overall score on the application was an 83 and my TEAS score is 88
I expect for us to hear back maybe late this month or maybe early April, I hope that we hear back soon the wait is so stressful.
It really is. I'm waiting to hear from 3 other college and am an alternate for another. So I'm really just hoping for a definite spot. The wait is soooo stressful.

I also wonder. Mine was last edited on the 6th and I haven't heard anything either way. But haven't gotten a denial. My previous apps never got to a round where they were edited. I just got a denial like 6 weeks after the app deadline. Fingers crossed that we're being edited because we're getting in! I hope it means something.

I hope so as well! I'm taking this as a sign that we are one step closer to being accepted. Fingers crossed... this wait is killing me.

You might have a point. My last name starts with a J and I updated on the 6th.
Sounds about right then! Hopefully that means they're almost through with the application reviews and will be updating us soon!
