ok peeps i tested today......for the second time. here is my story. the first time around i studied alot, more like too much, when i sat down at the test i honestly dont think any of the questions were registering with me. i was completely out of it. someone asked before if you could study too much i think you can, im proof, that was in october...fast forward to april, i tested again today. here is how i studied:
first time: Prayed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! stopped at 75
saunders, kaplan strategies, hurst notes, every day all day, not good!
second time around: Prayed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! stopped at 75
kaplan q bank, hurst dvds/notes, lacharity!!!!, infection control pneumonics, exam cram maybe 3-4 hours a day, thats it!
i answered all the q bank questions, did lacharity twice, chapters 1-3 of exam cram. it also helps to read through the randon facts thread on here. there is so much good information on this site, thanks to all of you. you have to believe in yourself and want to pass. i went into the test with a headache but i was like please be gone, i also scribbled St. Joseph of Cupertino's prayer on my stomach...thats right:D. i was going to read it again once i took a break but my test stopped at 75 and the screen went blue, i was like nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, not 75 again. this cant be. i had sooo many select all that apply you guys it was crazy, i had 1 dosage, 1 exhibit, quite a few priority questions/delegation and quite a few infection control.
i just built up the nerve to try the trick and Praise God!!! i got the good pop up ive read so much about. i just hope and pray still that its accurate for me as well:lol2:.
thank you all nurses and thanks to the individuals who have helped me by answering questions that i had and helping reduce my anxiety.
let me know if i can help anyone, i really dont mind

First and Foremost CONGRATS to you !!! :clpty:
I was scheduled to test on the 13th However, I got cold feet today and rescheduled, the next avail time I wanted is not til May 25th, however there are many dates open with the 8 a.m. testing time which I will take instead on waiting til the 25th of May.... Any how, I was wondering how much of the kaplan did you use? I dont have Kaplan at all but I have been doing exam cram like crazy, I have lacharity and then a book by pearson on alternate type questions, I have used only those 3 books....
In your opinion is Cram Exam enough?
Thanks for any and all input !!!
And again Congrats to you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
