I watched Birth Day Live! yesterday intermittently for the entire six hours. I suddenly thought: Hey! I wonder if any of those nurses are my brothers and sisters on Allnurses? So have you ever been on a show on Discovery Health or TLC? :balloons:

I was not personally but our hospital had 2 shows filmed in our L&D dept. They were aired on TV. It was fun watching the filming and what they edit out and how I saw what happened and how it was placed in the film.

The Discovery Health Channel series about people surviving horrible events filmed an episode about one of my patients that survived being attacked by swarms of bees. We did a reanctment of the incident and I was interviewed along with the doctor involved. This was years ago but I still have people tell me they seen me on TV.

It wasn't me, but my husband, (who is now an ER nurse) was on "Life and Death in the ER" when he was a paramedic.

I wasn't a nurse but when I rode for a volunteer ambulance as an EMT, we happened to be doing a run to a hospital that had the TV crew from Discovery there in the ER. I don't remember which show it was Maybe it was Life in the ER.
As we were giving report to the ER docs/nurses they were filming.
An aquantance of mine was recently on another show, his baby needed a heart transplant (the show was called Transplant or something along those lines, it was just shown last week) and my dental hygienest was on Labor and Delivery.

I had the opportunity to be on Discovery Health Channel. They were filming in a Dr. office I used to work at for a show about sextuplets. Anyway, when it came time to give their vaccines I bolted, I got total stage fright!!!

I wasn't on a show but I cared for a patient who, after she recovered, was featured on one of their shows.
