Essex County College fall 2010

Is anyone waiting for acceptance or denial letters for the fall 2010 rn program??? The wait is killing ME....OH THE AGONY!!! I score 116 on the nln with a 3.7 gpa.....not quite sure if that's gonna cut it....anyone else share my pain???

They haven't met yet!!!!!!! JT143 I'm dismayed. Anyhow, they don't go by a compostite score. They go by the percentiles and other points. I'm taking a summer class to help pass the time.

ECC NRS107: NRS107-Nursing 1- Essex County College

this will help you guys...i just finished nrs 107....yes you need to read from orientation....alot of reading but im sure youll be fine..i attached the blogspot...has alot of information plus the course calendar..shows the readings the dates will be different but same schedule....hope it helps ya....

I read somewhere on here that they go by a points system...I'm going to see if I can find it and post it...and nope they haven't met yet the guy said it was because they are short staffed!

I have a classroom full of Nursing Students in my micro class!!!! I'm getting so much info, it's not 5 chapters, it's 8 and they don't give it to you on the first day of classes. You get the assignment before classes start!!!! At orientation:lol2:! How bout that?!

I also did Microbiology last summer before getting into Nursing program and nursing students helped with some advice. First exam is 9 full chapters and then selected pages on 2 chapters so its about 11 chapters. There is also the handbook that you will be required to read. All the best.

:ancong!: OMG !!!!!!! Congrats ! I'm soooooooooooooo happy for you! BUT.......I haven't received a letter yet...does it mean I didn't get in????? !!!! I'm so worried now. Thought letters weren't coming until end of july/august!!!!! Now I'm extra extra stressed!!!! Feel like crying !

Noooooo. Nooo. No! No crying RNintraining72. It's just the first batch. My classmate said they told him yesterday that they were in the process now and I fully expect him to get in because I've witnessed his degree of knowledge. If he didn't get his then I know they aren't fininshed yet. :hug:

I was shocked to see it so soon also because I stopped by the office last week and she confirmed that letters would go out in late July/early August. She also said that they send out denial letters also, so if you didn't receive one of those, you're still in it!

Congratulations for those of you who got in I just received a denial letter today .... But im not

going to let that stop me from accomplishing my dreams. I'm just going to finish the remainder of my general

science classes and transfer to a four year university. ..

Oh if anyone is looking for the required books for nrs 107 my friend is selling them and they are in great conditon.
