i did the eri exit exam, the one in school right? that u have to pass in order to graduate? i thought the scores were in the hundreds like 690, not 69. i don't have my paper in front of me, but next to your number score is an at risk, average, and superior. i got superior, which is above average and i passed my nclex the 1st try with 120 or questions on july 29th. u still need to know the material and study because i didn't feel like the nclex compared to that test or type of question. the nclex doesn't compare to any of the nclex questions that i have studied or practiced!! but if you score good on eri, you are more likely to do well on nclex aswell. so they say anyways.

i also had to do the ERI exit exam, and thankfully we didn't need to pass it in order to graduate, however, most of my buddies including my self either scored average or superior....i never liked the ERI and did not use it post graduation but thats just my opinion!! my teachers told us if you scored average or superior then you have a pretty good chance of passing the Nclex! good luck with your studies
Well the north american average was like 57 or someting like that and I got 69. On the rt. side of the results i got 800 which is superior. I also too the nclex PN on july 29th and havent recieved my results. I live in ca though. Pearson doesn't do quick results with the PN in CA. so I have to wait to see if I passed. So worried about it. Its like the rest of my life hinges on this exam
well mine was for RN, but i am sure it is basically the same. good luck.

for those of you that have already taken the ERI- Exit exam any study tips?? We have to pass it to graduate- we get three tries but I would like to have it behind me early on and not have to worry about it. First attempt is on 10/6. So those that did well- did you study?? Take pratice tests? We have been doing the CAP test for each class- ex peds, mental health, etc and I have passed on the first try for each- although some were close! So I want to be prepared and only have to take this thing once! Any input or advice would be helpful. Also, I am studing for NCLEX too, mostly doing Saunders so then I can get Suzzane's plan. I have been using Saunders all through school and just wondering what other books, if any you guys found helpful- some more them others help with passing ERI and NCLEx?
Thanks in advance for any input and advice!

I did a paper and pencil one and did not recieve my grade back yet
Ours will be on a computer, is it different- besides I assume you get your grade back right away? Like the other ERi's once you submit the test at the end. Our instuctor said it would take 3 hours!

it's nothing. i too had to take it to graduate. it's not a big deal. i didn't even study cuz i figured i would just take it again and i passed with superior and i was a medioker student. best advice, don't stress over it.
well I kind of studied, but some of the questions were like umm yeah I have no idea. I had computerized ERI's and the results were at the end. However a detailed report wasn't available until an hour later.

may i ask how you did? i have an exam coming up and i've done farely well on the practice exams and caps, but afraid that the lpn assessment will be harder than the caps.
