  1. i also had to do the ERI exit exam, and thankfully we didn't need to pass it in order to graduate, however, most of my buddies including my self either scored average or superior....i never liked the ERI and did not use it post graduation but thats just my opinion!! my teachers told us if you scored average or superior then you have a pretty good chance of passing the Nclex! good luck with your studies

I also graduated from the shady grove program, i think all nursing schools around the area are competitive but don't let that deter you from applying, i almost did not apply to UMDSON all because i had a C in one class, but i went ahead and did it and got in. if you feel that your GPA is not the strongest, definatley write a good essay and simply show that you are interested in nursing! good luck, keep us updated
