Entrance Essay for BSN at University

I need to write an essay for Loma Linda University for my college application/entrance...what the hell do I write about? I have a BS in Biology and I never had to write an essay to get into college before. I have about 9 months to figure this out so I want to get a head start. Any ideas???

Is this for entrance to the University or for entrance to the nursing program at the University? Is there an essay question that you have to answer?

I can write the essay on any subject I want and I need it to stand out amongst many. I thought about the reason why I wanted to be a nurse but I am sure it will sound like everyone else's essay. I want a unique idea.

I remember when I first attended school in the 80's and I read many essays submitted to UC schools and there were some wacky ones out there but I also read some very inspiring essays that had nothing to do with academia/education. Oh well, I have about 9 month to work on this so I am sure something will come to mind :)

I'm a LLU nursing student... as far as the essay.. best to stick with the tired ol' "why I an interested in nursing," "issues in healthcare," or some BS about what values a nurse should have (brownie points if you add LLU's whole person perspective). They are not judging you on content of the topic just the ability to write a concise essay. It's really not that big of a thing.
