Since ATI provides no student assistance to interpret scores, let's help each other! If enough of us enter our complete TEAS scores, we'll be able to compare notes to see how we rank in different programs, what to aim for if your school requires a Program percentile rank rather than a series of scores, etc. There is another thread where people are sharing their scores, but it looks like most people are just sharing their Adjusted Individual Total Score or whatever applies to their particular school. By sharing all the info, we can help each other better.
Please copy the scores below and then change them to your own, in your post! thanks! Please make sure to check your Program Type! It's right under the name of the school where you took it, on your score sheet.

The real test is easier than the practice tests. I took the 2 ATI tests in the book and the 2 online. My scores always ranged in the 80's. The hardest part of taking the exam for me was the noise at the PSI testing center from people taking other types of tests that were open book. There was noise all around from people flipping through there books. They had earplugs up front but no one told me. I finally asked the proctor if there was anything I could do and he gave me some so if this is an issue for you ask them asap! Also, the writing on the computer was huge and blurry. I was very distracting and I made me take a lot longer than on the practice tests. But halfway through I asked and they changed computers for me but they couldn't stop the time so I lost time in this process too. But despite all that I still did great so I can't complain. But on the practice tests math was my best section and it was the lowest on the real thing so that was weird. Oh, also, even though they said I would hear within 48 hrs it took 5 days. It was excrutiating. I had to call ATI and wait for them to check on it. But FINALLY today I got good news. :)

If my school requires 64 overall to get in, and I scored a 74%, ranking 77 percentile with around 48 accepted out of 175 applicants... Does this give me a chance to get into the program?? I am so disappointed with my math score. On every at home practice test math was always my best score. I totally froze up on the test though:no:. Someone please give it to me straight!

I was aiming for at least a 90% overall composite score, but fell a little short. Didn't do as well as I would like to in the science section, but I hope I can still get into the program.
Study guides I've used:
*McGraw Hill - 5 TEAS Practice Tests
The more practice, the better it will prepare you for the actual test. The only thing I don't like about this book is their explanations to the correct answers. Sometimes, their answer is simply, "Choice A is correct because it's most logical" or "Do process of elimination". Not so helpful in explaining.
*ATI Study Manual Version 5
This is a study guide with mini practice questions after each section. It's a decent review book for each section. As for science, since they provide general concepts - it's on you, whether you know your specific science details or not on the test.
*ATI online practice tests (Forms A & B)
I scored in the 70's on both forms and started to worry about the actual test! I believe these online practice tests are slightly harder on the actual exam, particularly - science and English section. Reading section is easier on practice vs. actual. Math is math, so roughly the same on practice and actual. But these online tests were expensive! They cost more than the actual exam. So, I suggest you buy only one form, instead of both!
Good luck everyone!
It's hard to say really, NurseNeal89, since your school is competitive, it is most likely going to be the top 48 or so candidates. So yes there definitely is a chance you can get in! However, if the school goes off of GPA like most schools, well then there could be a problem there. Consider this if a student (we'll call him Student A) has an 80% on the TEAS and a 3.5 GPA, while Student B has a 73% but a 3.8 GPA most likely the student with the 3.8 will be accepted before Student A. However, this is going off how my school accepts and denies students, which I know is not the same everywhere. The school I attend takes your GPA and multiplies it by 50, then adds your TEAS score to averages out somewhere in the 200-300 and then whoever the top 50 or so students are accepted into the program. Granted most people are probably in the 250-280...back on track though. If your school has interviews as well in the application process, then that could also change the ones who are accepted and those who are not. There are several variables that could determine your entry into the program, so sadly there is no yes or no answer. Hopefully this helped, now go get accepted and do great things!
I want to attend the University of Tampa's Nursing Program. This was my first time taking the test and studied seriously for a week using the Teassecrets
