Lower Columbia College LPN2RN online
I had all A's in the prereq scores after retaking some of the classes. However, according to the application guidelines, the program only looks to see if you passed with C's and have all other requirements met then uses the TEAS score for their final decision making process. I got a 70 on my TEAS which I was very disappointed in. I still got in though! Another plus for LCC is that the prereq scores don't expire like other schools. This makes it much easier for people that took the classes a long time ago. Hope that helps!

Lower Columbia College LPN2RN online
I just got accepted into the Lpn to Rn online at LCC as well!! I actually live in portland. Do you know if they have clinicals closer to my area? Any tips to succeed? I'm thinking of working part time (like 2 days a week) do you think that is possible? Sorry for all the questions:)

Lower Columbia College
Hey! I applied this year and got a 74% on my teas and 69% on my step. Not happy about either one, but I've heard a lot of people don't even pass 64% on teas which makes me feel much better. Have you heard anything back form them? Fingers crossed!!!

Enter your TEAS V Scores here!!
Program Type: LPN to RN Lower Columbia College Adjusted Individual Total Score: 74.4% ATI Academic Preparedness Level: Proficient Mean - National: 64.3% Mean - Program: 64.9% Percentile Rank - National - 77 Percentile Rank - Program - 77 Reading Adjusted Individual Score 80% Mathematics A.I.S. 70% Science A.I.S. 73% English and Language Usage A.I.S. 75% (These are all from what I remember, may not be exact, but pretty close to my actual scores) If my school requires 64 overall to get in, and I scored a 74%, ranking 77 percentile with around 48 accepted out of 175 applicants... Does this give me a chance to get into the program?? I am so disappointed with my math score. On every at home practice test math was always my best score. I totally froze up on the test though:no:. Someone please give it to me straight!

LPN2RN @ Lower Columbia Community College 2014
Hi Porcelain Doll, I see that you have been attending LCC this past year. Would you mind answering a few questions as I am just about as anxious as you were! I took my TEAS V yesterday and am so upset with my score of 74.. then felt a little more encouraged after I saw that you got in with the same score. However, I got a much lower score on my LPN Step (70%). If you could give me any pointers on how many people are in the online program, or what the average score to get in is, that would be greatly appreciated! This waiting game is the worst:whistling: Thanks in advance!!

First job:Veterans Affairs VA Primary Care Clinic LPN (terrified!) Portland, Oregon
Hello Nursing World! Yay to my first post! Ok so i'll get to the point. I graduated from my LPN program January 2014 (6 months ago) and am getting ready to start my first job as an LPN at the Veterans Affairs (VA) Primary Care Clinic up by OHSU in Portland. I. am. terrified. I am hoping this is a normal feeling for everyones first nursing job! I came here in hopes that some experienced nurses that have worked in the VA, or any clinic setting, could give me the run down on the day to day working environment, what skills I should brush up on, or any other helpful tips that can ease my mind. Thank you so much and I look forward to connecting with some of you! Cheers :) Neal
