Hey everyone! I just applied to the Spring 2021 Residency here in Atlanta! I'll be graduating this December. I wanted to make a forum so everyone who has applied to this residency, or any residency in Atlanta, can stay up-to-date and informed! I'm so excited!! I am waiting for Piedmont to post the residency application for Spring 2021 as well

Hey guys just an update I had my interview last Friday and was offered a position in the CVICU, CCU and MSICU. I accepted the position in the CVICU today.

I'm hoping to get into CVICU as well! Nervous as heck for this interview though

The interview wasn't that bad, but def brush up on some ICU medications and what they are used for.

Congratulations! It's so exciting when people get job offers to their unit choices! Did you have prior tech or experience? I haven't heard back from piedmont yet but I'm trying to do other things to keep my mind busy!

No I did not have any tech experience but I was an army medic and I rotated to the ICU during my regular medsurg clinicals. I also will be doing my Practicum in the ICU

one question. Did you take anything to the interview or just yourself?

I did take my resumes and some other documents but I never gave it to them and they didn’t ask for anything. I would take it just in case though. Don’t worry about references bc they will ask for those once you get an accept an offer

Has anyone heard back from Emory, or know when they typically start contacting applicants?
