Emory Spring 2021 Nurse Residency Atlanta

Hey everyone! I just applied to the Spring 2021 Residency here in Atlanta! I'll be graduating this December. I wanted to make a forum so everyone who has applied to this residency, or any residency in Atlanta, can stay up-to-date and informed! I'm so excited!! I am waiting for Piedmont to post the residency application for Spring 2021 as well

Piedmont just posted their Atlanta residency today! I graduate in december as well. So far I applied to Emory, Northside and Piedmont!

I saw that! I am about to apply to Piedmont today. I am hoping no interviews are held during a clinical day!

Same! Right now all my clinicals are online, but my school is still trying to work with the hospitals to get our senior preceptorships, but that won't be until later October. So I'm hoping they call anywhere inbetween now and mid October while I don't have much doing on besides studying!

Have any of you heard back from Piedmont yet? I’m so anxious as this is my number one choice ?

I've had a couple of friend have a phone interview for piedmont last week! What specialty did you select? I haven't heard back from them. Emory is my number one choice right now and im waiting to hear back. My application currently says "under review" ?

I selected ICU, cardiac, and med surg ?. I was disqualified from Emory because I will be graduating with my ADN, however I know a few people that were hired with just their ADN so I thought I’d give it a shot. Have you heard from Northside?

I selected ICU, step down and ED for piedmont! I think anyone who selected critical care for piedmont didn't get call backs as of now. I'm not sure why. They may be trying to round up all the applicants for critical care/ED and then filtering them out. I haven't heard from Northside but they're currently hiring for their experienced nurse residency so I think once that closes they'll start for the new grad. Have you tried wellstar? I have a phone interview with them next week!

That’s great! Wishing all of us the best of luck ?. I heard back from Wellstar pretty quickly and had a phone interview with them today!

How was the phone interview? I'm pretty excited and nurse for mine! It's kind of up in the air if about senior practicums for my program because of COVID and I know alot of residencies want you to have a practicum in whatever specialty you're perusing. Also, I hope you hear back from piedmont soon!!

Don’t be nervous! The recruiter was very nice and it was fairly brief. She just asked a few questions about your area of interest and went over the next steps for the hiring process!

Hey everyone! What does your application status say with emory? mine says "received submission" and I applied in august! this is making me nervous !!
