I got the email last week about forwarding on to the hiring dept and received a call for a phone screen the same day. I know several other ppl that graduated from my program that received the email on the same day as me but have not gotten a call yet.

No it's making me nervous. I also stalk the internet for new grad residency programs and saw that Emory posted the one for their July and August 2014 programs... if I'm not going to be offered a position in March I want to reapply ASAP!

I received an invitation to interview yesterday (cardiology unit), but I had to decline since i recently accepted a position in NY. I couldn't believe the manager was working on New Year's Eve. I think the units' managers are responsible for making the calls. If that is true, inevitably some mangers will be faster than others. Good Luck to everyone.

I just got a phone call today! I have already taken a position at Wake Forest Trauma though..Good luck to everyone!

I accepted a position at Emory last week. I know they are still making calls so, everyone keep your phones available. My roommate received an email but still has not received a call yet. The program does not start until March 10 so there is still plenty of time.
