I have applied to the NHWSoN begining Fall 2010. I submited my application packet the first week of September. I am already CrAzY with anxiety. When did you folks here that you were accepted. How soon after you applied?
I met with an advisor last month and she said I should have no problem getting in. I am an Emory employee. I have been a Nurse Tech for ten years (not all at Emory). The 3 letters of recommendation were from: my A&P teacher, another teacher of health sciences, and my boss who is MSN, RN, FNP-C.
I have always wanted to be an Emory Nurse!!!!! Hopefully my dream will come true soon!!!!

Hey!! They told us when we went for that tour of the school back in 08 that they do have early admission. My gpa was 3.64 and i don't have a bachelors degree. one of my patients has a daughter who applied for fall 2010 and got her acceptance letter few days after i did. I really do hope and pray that all of you guys get in :)
does anyone know the exact date that the decision will be posted online. I know that last year it was posted on sunday feb 15 at about 4:00. I was wondering if any one asked someone in the admission office. I am really just wondering if it will be posted on the 15 or on sunday which is 14. Sorry I am a little crazy.
The 15th is Presidents's Day...I hope decisions will be posted regardless. I'm on pins and needles as well!!! Good Luck to everyone who applied, we'll find out soon enough!!!!
Hey! I called this morning to see when they are going to post decisions on OPUS and they said tommorow 2/16 but they did not say at what time!!!! Good luck!
Hey! thats a good question!! I also would love to know because my contract will expire soon so i will need to get both a new phone (still not sure which one we need) and a new plan i guess. If you find out please share :) thanks!!
Did anyone recieve an email from the financial aid office to their personal inbox staing that they've recieved your application, assigned you an advisor for the duration the program, are looking foward to working with you, the services they offer, etc.??
I did not you must have gotten in (crossing finger) what did you do for financial aid did you fill out the fasfa or profile did you send them other information? did you check opus
the only thing i got was on the opus in the to do list. They just listed items they needed me to turn in: copies of tax return forms, W2's , etc. i did fill out my fafsa and CSS profile and that is also listed on there. i don't think we are assigned an advisor until much later, same thing goes with the financial aid. they r supposed to send us our financial aid packet i think shortly after april 1st. Did anyone fill out the NEAT application?
I assume the 15th...!!
