Emory Accepted Students Fall 2011

Hello! I have been accepted to Emory's 2011 BSN program, and I wanted to create a new place for those that have also been accepted to keep in contact as we prepare for the fall. I am also interested in current and past students to offer any vital information that will help make this transition easier. I know this will be a very challenging program and I can only imagine everything I must do to be successful. So all advice and discussion are welcome!

As of now, I am very anxious about financial aid because it is unlikely that I will be able to submit my income tax return by March 15th. What are all my joining class thinking about now that we got the acceptance part out the way?:yelclap:

Hey guys, just really wanted to wish you all the best for this academic year and this new journey that you're about to start! It will be a very fun ride! :-)

I had the chance to meet some of you during admission day, hope you enjoyed the day! :-)

Wow!!! good for you. I still have three long weeks to go. I am exhausted already. The good thing is that I don't have to take summer classes. Will probably do CNA training then.

Hi, I just realized I have to take th TEAS and need to cram badly...Do you still have study guides you're willing to share? That would be so awesome! Thanks!!:)

jenn2, I still have the study guide if you would like me to email it to you! I think the guide and practice exams are very helpful, and a good reflection of what you will see on the exam. I just took the TEAS on Saturday before cramming for two days. I wish I brushed up more, but I did OK and can't complain.

Has anyone received the tutorial id and password codes so they can start the med math ati tutorials (supposed to receive all this Aug. 1st and 2nd)? I bought and set everything up a month ago. It says they are attached in the pdf on blackboard but I don't see anything besides instructions that tell me to put in the password I don't have + a list of what I need to complete. On the announcements page it says they will just email us the codes and id. I just wanted to check with you guys before sending an email to the school. Are they just behind sending out emails or am I missing something?

I think I'll just have to call the school or email her. I've checked all over blackboard and my emory and personal emails.
