I'm going to start a forum for the ABSN+MSN program! Please post questions, comments, and acceptances! Best of luck to everyone.
Hello all ?. I was hoping to get some realistic feedback about the program while we wait for Admitted Students Day. I am specifically interested in the transition between the ABSN and MSN. If you are in good academic standing, can you immediately continue full time coursework without trouble? Or is there a mandatory break and reapplication of some sort?

I applied because the info page said we could have them in progress during the application because we just need to finish them before the program start date. They updated the checklist page and checked off the prereqs I completed, but kept the X on the two I'm currently taking. It's making me nervous cause the checklist isn't all green!
I was accepted and had several prerequisites to complete at that time. I was told as long as they are completed before the start of the program you can apply without having them all done.

A few weeks ago, I met with the program’s financial aid adviser who went over detailed information in spreadsheet form. She said it was also on the website. But with the maximum amount of federal aid used, which most people get and get the same amount, the entire dual program is approximately $175-$180,000. I don’t remember the exact number and this was without textbooks, uniforms, parking, etc.

Did you pay the tuition deposit yet? Everything seems to get rolling once that's paid for. I got my financial aid estimate a week after I paid the deposit.
Fair warning though: I wish the school did more to help us financially for this program. The first time undergrads get a loan cap grant, why can't we?
