Emory ABSN Fall 2018

Hi everyone! I noticed there has not been a thread started for Emory's ABSN Fall 2018 (just the ABSN-MSN). Have any of you applied?

Yesterday was the priority deadline and from looking at threads from past years, it looks like people have received decisions as early as 10/16. Has anyone heard back?

If anyone is interested in sharing stats, feel free :)

Definitely diverse from what I've experienced - especially at Emory! The area that I live in is fairly calm and scenic, you can't even tell that the city is only like 10 min away. In a big city like this, it's hard to describe it in one way but there is something for everyone - from beautiful parks to hip bars & restaurants.

Definitely agree with marisa22. The area Emory is in is very diverse. There's also pockets of ethnic towns all over Atlanta and on the outskirts of Atlanta. I do feel like there's a good mix of things here; a little something for everyone.

Just checked my OPUS account and I have a button to "pay admissions deposit"... I'm not sure if this means I got in, but I hope so

Grew up in PA. Finishing my undergrad at a school in NC. Visited Emory last Spring for a DPT (thought I wanted to pursue PT school). Loved the area. Kind of pricey so I if I get accepted will definitely be looking to share an apartment. Good Luck to all!! Hope we hear something soon!

What is the OPUS account? All I have is the application site to look at. Am I missing something?

@gmacri Maybe check your email from around the time you applied? I got an email saying "create your OPUS account"
