  1. I know this is a really old post and I hope you still see this, but was wondering what you ended up doing? Did you ever transition from OR to L&D? I’m in the same boat now and am just wondering if the transition is doable.
  2. Hi! I know this is an old post, but I just came across this now so hopefully you are still checking this. I was wondering, how many months prior to taking your NCLEX did you start using UWorld? Thank you
  3. To be completely honest, it is very time consuming. A few of the students do work part time but they have said they do find it hard trying to find the extra time to study. Otherwise, it has been going well so far.
  4. Yeah, I don't think many schools accept Portage but I didn't really look into it so much since at the time I only had Brenau and Emory going for me. I mainly did it because it was so cheap and I had a good feeling that I was going to get into Brenau. The only other place I was really looking into was GSU's ADN program.
  5. Emory is a private school, so I guess they didn't require all the other prereqs that public schools wanted you to have at the time I applied. I obtained my first bachelors overseas so I never completed classes like American history or American Government. I ended up doing some of my prereqs through Portage mainly for attending Brenau.
  6. Ok, awesome. Maybe meet you then.
  7. Did you go the orientation this month?
  8. Thank you, and good luck to you too!
  9. I was waitlisted at Emory for their BSN otherwise I was looking at GSU's ASN. I like the idea of the smaller classes at Brenau so I'm excited for that. Also, because I studied overseas I don't have the proper pre reqs to apply to other schools right now unless I wait another year to get them done.
  10. Congratulations to you too! Can I ask what other schools you are looking to attend?
  11. I have recently been accepted into Brenau's ABSN course as well. I've heard both mixed results for this school, but overall I have heard that it is a great University. I am hoping that all goes well and look forward to starting.
  12. I got waitlisted, too. Better than a decline! I'm still hopeful. Congrats to all those who got accepted!
  13. Ah ok. Well, nothing yet for me. Fingers still crossed. Hope it means you got in, though!
