Emory ABSN Fall 2018

Hi everyone! I noticed there has not been a thread started for Emory's ABSN Fall 2018 (just the ABSN-MSN). Have any of you applied?

Yesterday was the priority deadline and from looking at threads from past years, it looks like people have received decisions as early as 10/16. Has anyone heard back?

If anyone is interested in sharing stats, feel free :)

I applied right on the priority deadline date. I really hope we do hear back on November 15.

Did y'all submit recommendations as well?! I don't understand when they will ask us to submit recommendations or do they not ask for them?

From my research it says in the emory site that if needed they will reach out to us for recommendations?

I didn't submit any recommendations. I believe they don't require any.

Hey everyone! I applied for the Fall 2018 cohort as well. Waiting anxiously for decisions to come out tomorrow. I received an email from SON that decisions should come out after 5pm tomorrow.

Is everyone here from the Atlanta area? I would be coming from California so it would be a nice change of scenery/environment if I do attend Emory!

I'm actually applying to Loyola Chicago's ABSN program as well! Have you heard anything about the program? Is it worth applying to?

@jackietran I'm applying to Loyola as well. I believe Loyola is pretty good as well, not as prestigious as Emory of course.

I'm originally from Florida but moved here to Atlanta in August. I live right across from Emory and I love the area

@Marisa22 Would you consider Atlanta diverse in its population of people? Is it predominately white or mixed? How would you describe the culture/area/people? Just curious!
