Emory ABSN Fall 2018

Hi everyone! I noticed there has not been a thread started for Emory's ABSN Fall 2018 (just the ABSN-MSN). Have any of you applied?

Yesterday was the priority deadline and from looking at threads from past years, it looks like people have received decisions as early as 10/16. Has anyone heard back?

If anyone is interested in sharing stats, feel free :)

I applied around October 13. I have all green marks but nothing other than that. Crossing my fingers!

I also have all green check marks except for my pending undergrad degree. What's your stats?

Hi! I applied for the October 15th deadline. I'm gonna be coming from California if I get in. My GPA is 3.5. I'm a CNA at the local hospital, a CPR instructor, and president of the nursing club at my school. Emory was my dream school for undergrad, but it was too expensive at the time, so I'm really hoping I get to go there for nursing.

What test score did you guys submit?

I submitted my ACT from high school cause it was within the five year requirement still and I got a 33 on it and I haven't taken the TEAS yet so this time around I'm applying only to schools that don't need a test or can use the ACT and then if I don't get in to any, I'll take the TEAS

I went back and forth on whether to send my ACT score (30) or take the Teas.... I ended up taking the TEAS a week before the deadline and scored a 97, which was surprising

Hi! I was hoping someone would start a thread. My stats aren't great, but I found it helpful when others shared. I have a B.S. in Biology with a 3.4 GPA and 94 on the TEAS. I attended the open house and I asked if anyone would hear back before November 15th and was told that everyone that applied for the priority deadline would hear back ON November 15th. I could have been misinformed, though.

Good to know that we won't hear till November 15th. Now I don't have to keep checking my OPUS page daily. Did you guys get the email about financial aid? Are we supposed to wait to fill it out till we figure out if we got accepted?

Here are my stats.

Undergraduate GPA: 3.4 (Major in biochemistry and English)

Prerequisite GPA: 3.84

GRE: 158 (VR), 157 (QR)

6 more days till we find out!!!
