    Hi Tom,

I'm happy for you that things are negative at this point. Here's to hoping they stay that way and that God will watch over you so that future tests will also be ok. May He relieve your's and your family's fears so that the burden of worry doesn't weigh you down. I will keep you in my prayers that only good things come your way.

    Warm personal regards,

Sorry to hear it too , Tom. Your posts are always a pleasure to read. I enjoy you objectivity and perspective on all the topics on the board. So, I was expecting another thread filled with TeeitupTom's foresight when I clicked on this thread.
Hated to read what happened. I'll be adding you to my prayer list too. (Can't imagine the posts without your levity).
Take care of yourself. I've been there, done that, same deal, patient "Jumped"...still negative after12 years.

Tom, just dreadful to hear. Hope all turns out well. I am going celebate in a show of solidarity to you (the fact that Mrs. ryaninmtv is 35 weeks along has nothing to do with it).

Keep your chin up. Prayers from here in Ohio.

I stuck myself with a butterfly needle after drawing blood from a patient who initially tested positive for HIV and Hep C - they repeated the tests using using a more sensitive Western Blot - and he was negative for both!

Are they 100% sure the pt's positive?

Keeping my fingers crossed for you.
