embassy medicals

when you recieve packet 4 and you make your embassy medical appointment, i assume you have to fill in a form about your medical history?

does this need to be confirmed or countersigned by your gp? or do you just fill in the questionnaire yourself?

im just wondering as obviously i will need to make a gp appointment for this and there will probably be a fee! (again);)

No your GP doesn't have to fill in anything. You have to sign it to say you have declared your medical history truthfully. Mainly a yes/no form, but obviously if you have ticked yes they require further info. Pretty straight forward really.

yeah i used to take it for migranes but since i stopped taking the contraceptive pill i dont get migranes anymore thankfully

when i injured my back recently i was advised to take it then but i didnt want to risk it so the doctor gave me diclofenac which has done the trick.

thanks for clearing that up apriljan i expect the form will be 300 pages long like evrything else lol

Anything with codeine in it is a controlled drug over here. Nurses I have spoken to cant believe it is so readily available over in the uk

what makes me laugh is you cant buy codiene in a small amount but you can buy a semi automatic gun from wallmart when you buy you groceries
