I am starting online RN-BSN via Chamberlain College of Nursing from July. Just wondering if any nurses out there who will be starting the program or in the program>
Any suggestion/idea is appreciated as it will be my first online program...........
Thank you!!!!
Four weeks down, four weeks to go!! I'm getting pretty excited! I'm working on my design for change piece of the Capstone this week and then just a summary, power-point and peer-review to go!! I hope everyone else is doing OK this semester. I'm glad I didn't take this class with economics. It just would of been too much with homeschooling my kids and family stuff. It has been totally doable by itself and I'm really enjoying the Capstone project.Sue, RN
Yep, same here!! And really, my husband keeps reminding me that Week 8 is just discussion posts with no assignments, so that's a bonus.
OMG, SUE!!! Week 6.2!!I just finished my Week 6 summary paper, working on the Week 7 PowerPoint right now, just to get it done. How's your change project going?
I know! Can you believe how fast this class has gone? My change project has been going great, I did it on prescribers changing from hand written paper prescriptions to the use of e-prescriptions which had so much information available. That made it easy. I'm also trying to bang out the powerpoint this week to get it done. I really enjoyed this class.

I figure I have 3 years to get done. Andy goes to college in 4 years. I feel crunched. I just sent him to kindergargen and now I'm sending him to high school in the fall. So, even though I could take a break after the NCLEX RN, I figure I'll go on thru and take a break after I get my BSN. Chamberlain seems very willing to help find ways to pay for this. 4 years isn't a long time. Amanda goes to college in 6years. I figure 10 years from now I can go back for my MSN! Well, maybe take a class here & there. But I'd rather finish my BSN sooner than later.
Do you have to graduate from a prestigious school to have better chances of being accepted into the crna program?
i'll b attending hondros school of nursing, and after my Rn, transferring over to chamberlain to get my bsn. I have only 12 credits from my previous institution before going to hondros, its almost as if im going straight out of high school. So if i want to get into the rn to bsn program at chamberlain, would there be any additional requirement? i mean i'll have my ADN from hondros when im done.
My ultimate goal is to go for crna, do you guys know of anyone that has graduated from chamberlain and got into a crna program?
thank you!!
has anyone gotten into any MSN programs after chamberlains rn to bsn? if so what fields if u dont mind me asking? would applying to a crna program b okay?

dln, I also am in Transitions at Chamberlain and chose Chronic Illness for my paper. I found quite a bit of useful information on the online Library they have. I did a bit of google searching. Good luck!
