El Paso Community College Nursing Student

Hi. Is anyone here attending nursing school at El Paso Community College? I will be starting my first semester in January and am very excited! I've already purchased many of the text books and wanted to know if anyone else has? Any concerns or comments about attending the program? I'd love to hear from you!

Hello everyone. I too ranked for the fall semester and let me tell the ones about to rank to study, study , study for the math accuplacer. it was very challenging but its not impossible ;) good luck to all of you. I will keep you all posted if I get my letter(fingers crossed!!!!)

Well, I am still waiting on my official letter of acceptance, but I got a call from the counselor telling me to register for classes. Woohoo! Anybody know about orientation for transition students yet? I heard Monday 27th at 1p off campus somewhere....

From what I hear, have your schedule wide open 7 days a week as things change often. You can probably expect to study every day. Put a set time in your schedule for this. I also have two children and when I was in the first two semesters I didnt get to see them much. Just remember, this is something you are doing for your family and the time spent away missing playdates or baseball games is for good reason. Cant really give you any other advice besides the obvious, as I attended my first year in Dallas. But good luck to you.

I had 1056 points and I was 30something on the list...of about 70. I was nervous that I wasn't going to make it. Good luck :)

You have to take biology before you can take anatomy. 1. Biology 2. Ap1. 3. Ap2 4. Pharmacology

I am waiting to hear if I have made it into the RN program at EPCC for Spring and I was wondering how I can calculate my score. I have seen something but it only has 12 semester hours for A&P I and II, and also for the Micro. But now they have Pharmacology as a ranking class. How do we calculate this. Any help that you can give would be appreciated.
