i know some of us have received our letters so i was wondering who else i will be making this journey with for the next 2 years.

my name is allison shaffer and it's nice to meet you. i know we will all be close because it's a small group. it would be nice to get to know some of you before november 17. :)

Most of mine are 6, I think. I can't imagine fitting 8 into the box, using only one page!

That's when I am typing my major care plan using a small font. ;)

I'm thought about doing some of mine in "8"-sized font.

Ms. E has already told us she has to be able to read it. So.....I don't go below 9 in spots that need to be squeezed in. I mostly use 10 though. ;)

How's cardiac going for you guys???? I'm sooooo lost!!! We haven't had any lecture, only tegrity from NL.... it's not fair.

I am doing the same: reading as much as I can. It's scary that we have our test next week. :chair: The new cardiac syllabus has so many diseases and complications there.

How come you don't have your own lectures?

I like her cardiac lectures so far. But I am sure it won't be enough to pass the test.

Wow, the respiratory test grades are posted and our class average is around 80%.

On the other hand 2 of my classmates from my clinical group had to quit already due to their low lecture average.

Can't wait to go to school tomorrow.

My instructor was absent.... We have one on Thursday, but that's it! It's just too much...

Ours is 80 too... I got 2 points. Did you get any? I wonder what was the max...

Why did they quit? I would at least stay until the drop date so that I could see what cardiac was like! It would probably help them if they planned on repeating..

No one from my class has dropped yet... I guess I'll see on Thursday!

I got extra points, too. But I don't know what was the max.

My classmates quit because they didn't pass the lecture tests. I know that both of them had some family issues going on so they wanted to take care of that and drop early. Hopefully they will be back next semester.

We always had either the instructor or an RN present.

I don't really remember giving any PO meds in 2nd semester with OB just IM Demerol or RhoGAM. I guess there were a couple of days on MedSurg but I think my instructor or RN was always present. Not this semester though- it's free reign and it RULES! :D

But you could do it with the RN present? It didn't have to be your instructor? That's good news! Sometimes it seems like I'm not making any progress because there's only 1 instructor and 9 of us! That's a lot of running to try to get to everyone!
