Hey Katie, thanks for posting! I was wondering about you all day yesterday and then you posted after I stopped checking in! hahaha I am happy about those new uniforms! My pink stethescope might look a little strange with that combo though! Oh well :) Did you have to pay for your scrubs as soon as you ordered them? What about the black shoes? Can you get any style or is there a specific brand they use? Were they selling them yesterday? I know I have a lot of questions! I am just so excited and I can't believe the day is finally here tomorrow! Do you have any advice on what time to get there? I was thinking around 1:30 just to be sure I am ON TIME even though it doesn't actually start until 3!

Yes, I had to pay for the uniform. They don't take cash! And they don't sell shoes.

My orientation started at 3pm and the uniform selling at 2pm. I got there around 1.30pm. There was a class in the same room that finished around 1.40pm so we couldn't go in earlier.

I think it's fine if you get there 10-20 minutes earlier.

Can you order different pants or jacket, as long as they are the correct color, or do you have to order through the school?

I had my heart set on the black flare scrub pants...guess I'll have to wait until after I get in and graduate to buy them. LOL

I like my lab coat, it has a draw string on the back. It makes it look cuter, and feels better on. LOL I sure would like to pick my own out, as long as it is white.

The top and the lab coat have college logos so you have to order those from the same vendor. I am not sure about the pants.

Gotcha. Well, I could live with the jacket, and the pants for that matter, but those black flare scrub pants are so stylish. lol

That company where you had to get the uniforms from also has a "Cargo Black Flare" scrub pant. That seems to be more beneficial, actually.

(of course in black, instead...lol)

It sure would be nice/better if you could use either, but especially the cargo flare scrubs pants. I've read on here so many times that the more pockets, the better. :)
