El Centro spring 2017

Checking to see if there are any other applicants applying to elcentro spring 2017 program .. I'm looking to have 24 points before taking my hesi test Jan 2016 ..

OMG you are right I went to look at everything that I sent. #7 Annual influenza vaccine, however, it says " El Centro college will notify students when current seasonal Influenza vaccines are to be obtain". That is why I did not think we needed it. They are saying that with whatever happen at el centro last week they are extending the deadline until the 29 of this month. I already sent sentry a message just to be on the safe side!

Yea can't hurt to ask them just to be on the safe side.

Who said they are extending the deadline until the 29th?

Make sure you confirm with the dean via email about that due date. Although the school is closed the dean is responding to emails. Ive emailed her a couple times and had no problems getting a response from her. I would definitely suggest emailing her so you can have it in writing. Without it being in writing I wouldn't just trust word of mouth. Since everything has the due date of the 15th in writing if they are extending it i would suggest asking for it in writing to have something to back yourself up

Hey y'all, I was wondering what the competitive ideal score to be considered into El Centro Nursing program now since the highest you can get is 50 points. Thanks!

I can't tell you exactly what score will be needed to be considered but I can tell you from individuals I've spoken with that are applying have points that range between 35-42. I haven't spoken with anyone that has more or less than that range. How many points do you have?

The dean of the Nursing program at El Centro posted it online on facebook. I also recieved an email from sentry confirming the deadline was extended until July 29th. I am still going to apply at Brookhaven just in case as I took Chemistry and Dosage Calculations to be able to apply there as well, but I am hoping this is a sign. I will be getting my second Hep A on Tuesday and then submitting my packet at El Centro with 32 points. Fingers crossed :)

Yay fingers crossed!! Good luck!! Hope everything works out for you. I hope you have an easier experience submitting your application than I have so far. I mailed mine but since the school has been closed my package has been held up at FedEx. Certain buildings are going to reopen today but I'm nervous if FedEx will know about those buildings reopening or if FedEx will think they're closed since the main building is closed. omg I'm so stressed over all this!!!:confused:

I mailed my application for the last application period and it drove me crazy waiting as there was no confirmation. I know they received it though because I got my rejection letter. The paramount building has already opened back up from what I have been told. I am going to be turning my application in person this time just as soon as I get my email back from Sentry. Two people in my HPRS 1204 class met with Serina Davenport who looked over their applications and said 32 points was competitive from what she has seen. My friend had the same number of points as me. I am going to try and meet with her when I turn my application in to confirm. She also said most applicants are not aware of the Hesi score changes or second Hep A shot requirement.

I feared them losing it so today I actually picked it back up from them and dropped it off at el centro myself. I feel so much better knowing its in the right place!!!! Now I just have to patiently await October 15th. Lol it can't come fast enough lol 32 is competitive is great news!!!! I pray I get in. I have 37/38 points.
