El Centro spring 2017

Checking to see if there are any other applicants applying to elcentro spring 2017 program .. I'm looking to have 24 points before taking my hesi test Jan 2016 ..

:roflmao: confetti would have been really nice!!! Heck it is a long time coming to get to the point of applying lol! sucks to just put it in a box lol i was thinking we would at least put it directly into someones hand lol i guess it doesn't matter but it would have been a little more personal to put it directly in someones hand :yes: did it seem like the box was FULL of envelopes? Im curious with all the changing if less people will be applying this semester

Yea it sucks getting a transcript sent over. I submitted for mine to be sent electronically so i thought it would be sent same but unfortunately thats not the case. UNT takes up to 3 days to send it electronically. so annoying!:madface:

I think they should *at least* give receipts showing that you submitted your packet. I'm probably paranoid - I've never heard of it happening - but I would hate for a packet to get "lost."

I could not tell how many (if any) envelopes were in the drop box - it was like the box at the post office - you can't see down into it. I SO wanted to know but I didn't want to stand there squishing my face to the opening trying to see how many!! :cheeky:

You've got to keep me posted to when you submit yours! We're in this together!!

I completely agree because that would absolutely suck for someones application to get lost and they have no proof of showing they did turn it in. Fingers crossed nothing like that happens!!!!!! The only problems I've read about on previous post are problems with sentry. I read on a couple old posts that they initially were denied for not turning in their sentry information but they had the email to confirm they did turn it in and received a complete status. I definitely hope thats not an issue this semester either!!

Yes!!! we're totally in this together. I put in to get off work early thursday so I can go turn in the application. That'll give a couple more days for the transcript to be received and attached to my file. I just can't wait to submit everything!! I'm so anxious!! I've been waiting a long time to get to this point of being about to apply!!!!:yes:;)

I think 35 points is a good amount of points. With the changes that have been made to the application process there maybe a chance not as many will be able to apply for the spring 2017 program. I could be wrong though. I am going to be submitting my application next week. ill be applying with 37/38 points.

Hi Dulce. I submitted on July 5th.

I'm worried about the people who haven't been able to get down to the school to turn in their application since the deadline is Friday. The school has been closed all week due to the shootings.

When I get back home I can send you a copy of it. As for the flu shot you do have to have proof of your annual flu shot. If you have no gotten it you won't be able to get before the deadline. All the flu shot vaccines expired 6/30 and new vaccines won't be available til fall season

I submitted my packet and my stuff to sentry they send me an email that says Compliance Status: Health Application Complete. I however, I didn't submit a flu shot. I'M AFRAID I wont get in now.

Yes, I have already submitted everything to sentry and I received a complete back. If you received a complete then yay. maybe they didn't notice you don't have your flu shot. did you get it last year? if you got it last year and it hasn't hit the year mark then that flu shot would still fine. you only have to get the flu shot annually (once a year). If you haven't had the flu shot at all and they still gave you a complete then I can only assume either they didn't notice or maybe they have changed the requirement. There has been a lot of changes but on sentry requirements #7 on the list of vaccines says annual influenza vaccine
