  1. Out of curiosity, did they tell you why you were notified early? Late applicants were supposed to receive email notification on 10/31. So confused.
  2. Been thinking about you. Did you get your letter today?
  3. I am at El Centro, too!!
  4. I'M IN!!!! Come on FutureNurseGoodwin!! Check your mail!!!!
  5. Where do you live? Waiting on my letter!
  6. CONGRATS!!!!!! Where do you live? I am waiting on my mailman right now!! Soooo anxious!! How many points did you have?
  7. CONGRATS!!!!!! Where do you live? I am waiting on my mailman right now!!!
  8. I'm glad you decided to do that!! I would have done the same thing!!
  9. Who said they are extending the deadline until the 29th?
  10. Hi Dulce. I submitted on July 5th. I'm worried about the people who haven't been able to get down to the school to turn in their application since the deadline is Friday. The school has been closed all week due to the shootings.
  11. I think they should *at least* give receipts showing that you submitted your packet. I'm probably paranoid - I've never heard of it happening - but I would hate for a packet to get "lost." I could not tell how many (if any) envelopes were in the drop box - it was like the box at the post office - you can't see down into it. I SO wanted to know but I didn't want to stand there squishing my face to the opening trying to see how many!! You've got to keep me posted to when you submit yours! We're in this together!!
  12. It was so anticlimactic. Walked in, put my envelope in the drop box (there was no one in the office and the sign said all applications go in the drop box), and walked out. I was thinking "Trumpets and confetti would be nice - this has been a long time coming." I had to get another transcript sent from a school I attended previously - I did that on Friday, July 1. Even though it has been on file since I came to DCCCD (in 2012), the packet said the print date has to be 3 years or less. *sigh* Thank goodness that school sent it electronically, so it was done that same day. So. many. hoops. to jump through.
  13. Has anyone submitted their application? I turned mine in yesterday. Now to wait... 100 days until October 15.
  14. Hep A also takes 6 months. 1st dose in "month zero" and 2nd dose in month 6. Hep B is 1st dose in month zero, 2nd dose in month 1, and 3rd dose in month 6.
  15. They didn't change it in May. It was changed at least as early as November 2015.
