Hello, I know this is going up kind of early but i was wondering if anyone else was applying to the nursing program at el centro for fall 2016, if i am not mistaken , the deadline is some where in november to January. How many points will you guys have by the time you apply?

I have a question, I know it's late asking this but when you guys dropped off your application at el-centro, was it like brookhaven tat they make you sign a paper acknowledging that you applied for their program? because i just dropped mine in the application slot because there was no one by the front desk. i'm getting paranoid that they did not get my application that's why I haven't gotten the mail yet for Spring 2016..

I applied to both programs (2nd time at ECC) and the process is way "nicer" at BHC. They encourage you to drop off your application and offer to look it over to make sure it is complete, then they give you your receipt and your on your merry way!
At ECC, they just have you mail it or drop it off- where maybe someone can look it over if you ask (I'm guessing) and they do not give you any confirmation. They weed applicants out for not having this-or-that complete and boom! your disqualified. I honestly think they just have SO many applicants at ECC that they do not have time to look at applications to make sure they are completed.
I sent mine to ECC priority mail so I could track that it got there- but that's about it.
Keep us posted on how many points they got in with. I'm close to throwing in the towel and just applying at UTA. They have and Accelerated BSN program where I finish in 15 months. Since I work for Baylor I have a better chance at getting in since they have a partnership with UTA.
Unfortunately, none of them received any letters today.
That's awesome about UTA! I did not know about the 15 months BSN program. I would apply if I were you, especially since you got the hook up through Baylor. I was thinking about applying to Brookhaven, but I have not had chemistry yet.
