El centro nursing fall 2016

Published

Hello, I know this is going up kind of early but i was wondering if anyone else was applying to the nursing program at el centro for fall 2016, if i am not mistaken , the deadline is some where in november to January. How many points will you guys have by the time you apply?

gaby

Yes they will. I did not include mine and Sentry still sent me an email that my documentation provided was in compliance status. It may be best to provide it when you submit your documents to Sentry MD. I did not because once I am accepted into the program I will have to leave my current job and must obtain my own insurance. My current schedule is not flexible and will not work out with the schedule of classes. I understand that if proof of insurance is not provided to Sentry before the end of the application deadline; proof must be available once the nursing program begins.

SentryMD said I was complete but I did not include a copy of my medical insurance card that is why I asked.

We are in the same boat! I work for a physician Mon-Fri 8-5. I will have to quit & lose my health insurance upon starting the program. That is why I didn't submit it, it will no longer be active. Bummer.

Just the unknown of whether or not you will get in is stressful. The thought of leaving a job to start the nursing program is stressful. Then to worry about how to get my own health insurance between leaving my job and before the beginning of the program is stressful too. All that said, this too shall pass. We are climbing up that mountain and will be on the downhill side before we know it. Best of luck to you!

YES MA'AM! You too! :)

So for Sentry MD, we print out the immunizations and physical exam forms, have our physician fill them out, scan them, and send them to [email protected] ,right?

Is that all we send to SentryMD?

Thats sounds about right...... If you are missing anything they will let you know right away :)

Anyone turning in their app this week?

I just finished English 2311 and will turn in my application as soon as the final grade is submitted to the school by the instructor. I have everything all ready in the envelope and will be walking my application into the nursing admissions office very soon. Good luck to everyone who will be applying!

How many points will you all be applying with? I'm at 28 right now but retaking my Hesi on the 19th to see if I can add more points. Also applying for Methodist partnership as well. Good luck to you all!

I have 30 points and I am hoping that is enough. I had considered retaking my HESI as well, but just didn't want to go through it again. It's unfortunate that I ended up losing a point due to the new point system for the HESI. The applicants last semester seemed to have very high points compared to those accepted in prior semesters. Good luck to everyone!:)

I also have 30 points and lost a point due to the new point system:( I have another HESI date on the 14th, still unsure if I want to go through that again or just apply as is. My folder is ready and I will be dropping if off really soon also :) Good luck!!!!!!

For some reason I had to make a new account and could not access my old one after getting a new iPad. but I'm applying with 31 points!

Does anyone know if the titers has to have the actual numbers on there? I did one for varicella, but it just says immune.
