Hello all!

Other than the application, HESI results, transcript, and immunizations, what other things need to be submitted before the application deadline?? (which I believe is Jan 31st)

CPR certification

Do we have to submit proof of medical insurance? I think I read that somewhere?

This is from the ADN application packet:

"Proof of current personal healthcare insurance coverage is required for all health occupations students, Ifdocumentation of coverage is not submitted to SentryMD with immunization records, proof ofcoverage must be submitted by the first day of the semester if a student is accepted to the program.Students must secure their own coverage and the insurance policy must cover the student at any hospitalfacility."

Will SentryMD show you as "complete" without submitting a copy of your insurance to them?

Yes they will. I did not include mine and Sentry still sent me an email that my documentation provided was in compliance status. It may be best to provide it when you submit your documents to Sentry MD. I did not because once I am accepted into the program I will have to leave my current job and must obtain my own insurance. My current schedule is not flexible and will not work out with the schedule of classes. I understand that if proof of insurance is not provided to Sentry before the end of the application deadline; proof must be available once the nursing program begins.
