El Centro/ Northlake Nursing Spring 2014

Hello all! I'm new here and have not seen a post for El Centro spring 2014. I was originally planning to apply for fall 2014, however I just heard that the point system and prerequisites have been revised! Now I will be able to apply for this spring! I don't know if I will get in, but its worth a shot! Anyone else applying for spring 2014?

Ahhhhh we made it to only 3 weeks away!!! I keep telling myself "good things come to those that wait" but the wait is killing me!!

I got accepted to the UTA AP BSN program. Still waiting for el-centro!!!

Hey guys I applied for El Centro Spring 2014 as well! The wait is killing me! Do you guys know if they just send out the letters all at once or if maybe someone already got theirs? I feel like a kid at Christmas checking the mail all the time!!!! :nurse:

Congrats!!! Are you going to accept el centro over UTA??? I would go the BSN route, personally.

I heard UTA only accepts high GPA's, is that true? I have a 3.4 but not sure if that is acceptable at UTA...

Acceptance to UTA, congrats!!! I think the wait is killing all of us. I doubt that some people have already received their letters. I haven't gotten anything! :(. We just have to find things to do besides mailman stalking! That's dangerous in my neighborhood anyways, we have the "rookie" mail carriers I think, they drive those trucks like they are invincible! The other day one of them came within inches of a fire hydrant! It was terrifying to watch, hahaha!

Oh gosh what a nightmare, dreamt that I got a big manilla envelope in the mail from el centro, opened it and it was empty!!! It was of course only a portion of a super crazy dream but enough to have my anxiety levels top notch this morning! Come on 2 more weeks!!

So decisions come out by the 31st? So in reality, it could be any day now right?

I don't think they actually mail anything until the 31 so we won't get it till like Friday or Saturday

Can some one please shed some light on what the new point system is? Or could guide me on where i could find the new point system. Would really appreciate the help. Thank You.

...the acceptance letters will be mailed out on the 31st of October, and there will be a 7 day grace period before we should start calling, per the nursing department, grrr, lol...
