El Centro/ Northlake Nursing Spring 2014

Hello all! I'm new here and have not seen a post for El Centro spring 2014. I was originally planning to apply for fall 2014, however I just heard that the point system and prerequisites have been revised! Now I will be able to apply for this spring! I don't know if I will get in, but its worth a shot! Anyone else applying for spring 2014?

Ieexpress did you apply for this semester? The application packet should have showed you the difference from last semester when it was only a 30 pt system not 40. Mrdoug that was hilarious!

...the acceptance letters will be mailed out on the 31st of October, and there will be a 7 day grace period before we should start calling, per the nursing department, grrr, lol...

In other words don't call on November 1 to say I haven't gotten my letter yet? LOL

They could raise money for the school and totally ease students minds if you had the option to check a box and send like $10 and say email me!!!

Where did you get this information? I called them this week but they were already closed. Is there something on the EL Centro website? Thank you

...hey, I called El Central Thursday afternoon and spoke with the department of nursing (admissions), also, if you call the dean of nursing and it goes to her voicemail, there is a message that states the same ?...

If it says that it will be mailed on October 31st.. That mean you guys won't get it til November 1-3rd. I'm currently in the program right now. They'll just tell you the same thing if you call.

So we have roughly about 10-12 days before we know?! The fact that it's down to days now instead of months puts me a bit at ease

Hehe yea, sleep as much as you can now! I barely get any sleep now :(

I am so anxious people. I am still hoping that the letters will be here before the 31st. 10-12 days seem so like forever.
