C'mon peeps, where are you all? There are posts for every other ECC/NL class. We need our own too.

Anyone else starting in the Fall '07?

What time is that meeting? I'm not showing anything on ecampus.

2504 is not third semester , it is sec. semester. I havent heard any info for us yet, nor seen anything on ecampus. I remember how unorganized they are. So I wait till at least a week and a half before school starts before I go in, to check on everything.

Quick question... is there a third semester syllabus I missed at the bookstore? I bought my psych book online for half the price.

On another note....is anyone ready to start back to the grind? I am not looking forward to it in the least. Anyone having a peep talk get together type thing? Hopefully I am not the only one feeling this.

I went to the bookstore on Tuesday to get the 4th semester syllabus and they told me that all nursing syllabi will be there in about a week.

The meeting on the 27th. Is that room (C131, 132) located at ECC or NLC? I emailed and called a couple of the "powers that be" and haven't heard anything...

I thought this was for the 4th semester students???

Kendra....I'm a little scared, but I've already started going over the chapters. I hope that helps me get back in the groove of studying.

I only got the book/CD today. My scholarship invoice was wrong, so I have to go back to get the supply pack another day. uggggh...........

As far as the syllabus goes, I'll get one when I can afford it! (I have to pay for that!) I've had so many things go on this summer that was money consuming, and now I'm paying for my daughter's drill team. (At a bargain of $1080....hey, it's less than the cheerleading was the last two years!) :uhoh3:

I think you'll get your 'umph' back when we do start.

OK, when we got the 1st semester Book Box, we were supposedly given a voucher for the booklet that will contain the access code for the online portion of Potter Nursing Skills. Well, we are supposed to bring that voucher to the bookstore in order to purchase this $25 booklet that is now in. Well, of course I have no recollection of getting a voucher. I have gone through everything and can't find one. Did others get one or not? I know one who did, and one who didn't. ARGH! I am hoping I can bring in my receipt or something and they will accept that.

This is new , we didn't get this at all.

About the voucher, if you check on ecampus there is a page that says; "Installation instructions for Evolve Select CD that came with the box of textbooks. Let your Ms. Johnston know if you did not receive the CD or lost the white voucher form that with the access code. The Elsevier representative will arrange for delivery of the CD. "

Also I was wondering which books I would need to take to my first skills lab class. There are several really heavy ones I don't want to take if I don't need them. Thanks!

I didn't take any books on my first skills lab day. We had the clinical handbook and they give you a packet of information that has reading assignments, etc. You don't spend time in books, it's all hands on.

I didn't take my books either. If you feel the need, take Potter & Perry.

Charging us $50 bucks for something (syllabus) I could have printed for less than $2 is totally outrageous. was expected the lady at the bookstore to say 4 or 5 dollars and she said $50! Ithought she was joking! Why this couldn't be made available on ecampus is beyond me other than the school gets a nice cut off of the retail price. Sick! :angryfire

I totally agree with you!!!!

A few people follow along with it, but I didn't. I was all gung-ho about using it last semester, but time didn't allow it!

Maybe this semester I'll try it again. :)
