Hello,
I wanted to start a thread to see if anyone is applying for the Fall 2019 program at El Centro (hoping to get into the North Lake program). I'm getting ready to send my application and await the process. Just didn't see a thread yet and wanted to connect with my hopeful future Colleagues. I've read the Spring 2019 thread and it was exciting to see everyone come together during this process to share in this fantastic journey! I'm hoping to connect with anyone going through this experience with and hopefully also be in the program with me.

It depends on what BSN program you'll be bridging over to. I am taking Chemistry 1405 right now, however, UTA doesn't accept that one. Just Chemistry 1411 (one reason why I'm applying to Brookhaven). But other programs accept both 1405 and 1411 so it depends on which BSN program you'll be attending afterwards so you don't have to repeat a chemistry class you already took because that university doesn't accept it.

To add to your comment,
UTA doesn’t require chem if you’re bridging. Only if you apply straight into their BSN program. ?
UTA does not require chemistry for bridge student. However, if you take 1406 or 1305, you will not get points towards your application. El Centro requires 1411 to get a point. In addition, El Centro does not waiver your chemistry class if it is expired. You will have to retake it, if it is expired, to earn a point towards your application. Also, if you plan to go into programs such as the bsn to dnp transition program, for example, you will need chemistry 1411 in order to be able to take 1412, and then take organic chemistry I or biochemistry I.
