El Centro College Spring 2019

Hi guys,

i wanted to make a forum for all of the 2019 applicants. I wanted to know what everybody was going to apply with and if they knew anything about the school still being in academic probation? Also does anybody know if the school accepts the Hep A and Hep B shows that are 1 month apart?

About the hesi. Reading and math take the longest. Do them first. Do AP next and vocabulary and grammar last so you can fly by.

I've heard of people doing the hesi test multiple times. They said the questions regenerated and they remembered the questions.

I took it once. I scored an A on AP and I had only taken API, but I'm an X-ray tech so I know some anatomy.

Also, I heard if you email El Centro about taking the hesi again you can retake it. Do what you can do!

Hey Everyone! I am also applying for Spring 2019! Is anyone else taking the Hesi on May 25th? What are y'all doing to study? I have the Elsevier review book and a Trellis review book and practice tests. I also just started using pocket prep. I am SO nervous for the A&P section!

Also, is anyone else enrolled in the maymester HPRS 2201?

Hello! I am also applying for Spring 2019! I had no idea the program was on probation. I wonder if that will affect us as applicants in any way? I'm planning to take the Hesi on May 29th. What do you guys think is the best review book/study guide for the exam?

Apparently they did not accept and new students for Fall 2018. So now I'm not sure I will apply here at all, since they are having so much trouble passing students. It's a setback, because ever school has a different set of requirements. So I'm thinking that I might just go straight for my BSN.

Hi guys. I'm currently going to school at Collin College, but want to apply for ADN at El Centro for Spring 2019. Do I have to be a current student at any school belong to Dallas Community College to apply to the program?

Hey please what is the list of vaccines? I have been looking but I don't see it in the application package, i looked on the ADN page too.

I plan on applying for the spring '19. I'm taking the HESI next week! If I do well then my points should be about 30. Is that enough? I feel like that's not a competitive number.
